Joint meeting between HCM University of Architecture (UAH) and the French Environment & Energy Management Agency (ADEME) and the Energy Conservation Research & Development Center (ENERTEAM)

On June 9^th  2016 morning, UAH held meeting with ADEME, ENERTEAM Center and delegations.

UAH representatives included M.Arch. Truong Ngoc An – Party Secretary – Vice Rector; M. Nguyen Hoang Minh Vu – Vice Rector; M. Arch. Truong Thi Thanh Truc – Leader of Project Team and  Project’s lecturers.

Participants representing ADEME were Dr. Dominique Campana - Director of International Relations, Mr. Philippe Beutin- Director of Réunion and Mayotte Region, Dr. Mohanty- Brahmanand - Energy Efficiency Expert and Ms.Aurélie Bernard - Asia Project Manager.

Taking part in meeting, there were delegations from ENERTEAM, HCMC Department of Planning and Architecture,  National General Construction Consultancy Joint Stock Company and Nam Long Investment Joint Stock Company.

At the meeting, M. Nguyen Hoang Minh Vu briefly introduced about the University of Architecture of Ho Chi Minh as well as the in-depth scientific study of the physical architecture, green building, energy savings research performed by UAH’s lecturers.

On behalf of UAH and delegations, M. Nguyen Hoang Minh Vu warmly welcome ADEME representatives for visiting the University of Architecture of Ho Chi Minh, expressed his desire to have more opportunities of educational cooperation, scientific research and field of construction consultancy, green architecture, energy saving, efficient energy use in the future.

As ADEME delegation, Dr. Dominique Campana - Director of ADEME International Relations delivered speech about ADEME’s tasks and missions, activities and projects conducted in Vietnam.

Mr. Philippe Beutin  - Director of Reunnion and Mayotte region made  presentation about the project Representative from NAGECCO introduced Ehome 3 Project   Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thanh – Design Manager

Mr. Philippe Beutin - Director of Reunion and Mayotte region presented the Reunion Island project, also wish to cooperate to exchange and share design ideas.

Representatives NAGECCO shared ideas of designing building in Ehome 3 Project - designing microclimate for buildings and residence and energy efficiency.

After more than two working hours, two sides have exchanged views on the implementation, opportunities of development cooperation in designing microclimate for the construction of buildings and residence and energy efficiency.

UAH and ADEME agreed to effectively promote cooperation projects between two sides and keep contact via ENERTEAM Center.
