Swinburne University of Technology representatives meeting with students of the undergraduate collaborative training program

The meeting of Swinburne University of Technology representatives (Melbourne, Australia) and students who have completed phase 1 in the undergraduate collaborative training program (2 years at HCMUARC – 2 years at Swinburne) took place on May 21st, 2015.

Joining the meeting were Ms. Bui Thi Nhu Huyen-Head representative of Swinburne University of Technology; Ms. Truong Thi Thanh Tam-International Training Center representative; and parents whose sons and daughters are students of the program.

Ms. Dam Thi Mai Truc-Senior Marketing Oficer of Swinburne University of Technology provided students and their parents with information on the studying environment, facilities, academic programs along with other services only reserved for international students.

Besides, Ms. Truc also shared some experience related to living, traveling, studying issues with students to help them make good decisions before beginning their study at Swinburne.

During internship, students will have a chance to work in field projects of prestigious companies. Afterwards, they will do presentations to these companies and get feedbacks from experts. This is considered an opportunity for students to collect knowledge & and earn career opportunities through proving themselves during internship.

Ms. Huyen also offered great advice to students for their upcoming studying time in Australia. According to her, students should be more active with social activities, integrating themselves into new environment with self-confidence.

The meeting was filled with excitement through questions and answers on studying & living fees.

As planned, students who complete the first 2 years of the undergraduate collaborative training program on Interior Design & Industrial Design shall continue the rest of their studies expected to launch in August 2015 & February 2016 in Australia.

This undergraduate collaborative training program on two majors “Industrial Design (2+2)” & “Civil Engineering (2+3)” is a joint-effort by HCMUARC and Swinburne University of Technology.
